Heya peeps! I thought I would open my blog with a nice positive message, first of all by just wishing everybody a merry Christmas.

Now we all know that with it being less than a week before Christmas, things are crazy! People are usually stressed about not having finished their present shopping, or food shopping, etc.  Thus I just wanted to state:  CALM DOWN!! lol take your time, everything will get done on time ;-)

Another thing that I wanted to highlight was that with it being Christmas as kingdom people, (or christian for those who don’t use that term) we shouldn’t allow ourselves to forget what this season is REALLY about and that’s our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Had he not been born and had he not fulfilled his purpose we wouldn’t have the salvation that we do today so take this time to celebrate his birth and to show appreciation to your family :-D Don’t allow yourself to get distracted by what the media and outside resources tell you what you should be focused on.

With that being said, I wish you a very stress-free, relaxing, holy ghost christmas, and a happy new year (I hope you guys spend new years eve in the church as well, you know there ain’t no pary like a christian party lol!!)

Okay so it’s really early in the morning but I took a nap earlier on and messed up my sleeping pattern!

As I think about the new year approaching in less than 21 hours, I question what on earth to expect. We often do. What will be bestowed upon us within the coming year?

However, reflecting on everything that has happened within the last year, I am more than confident that no matter what I may encounter - whether good or bad, I will overcome and survive whatever is thrown at me. This is all down to the fact that my heavenly father and great counsellor promised that he would never leave nor forsake me. I have dealt with an array of new things this year, from the excruciating pain of losing a loved one to the joy of God revealing new things to me and working via me. And thanks to God I am STILL here!

I know that I am serving a God that is faithful to all of his children even when they are not faithful! Through trusting him and remaining open to him he has given me that bold spirit that has conquered many fears and thus opened doors for me to do things I never would have imagined or had the courage to do, especially prior to receiving his holy spirit.

So what I will say to you this year is keep leaning on God, discard yourself and your will, because our will will never be as good as God’s anyway! continue to trust in him in 2012. Don’t turn back from him or his word. Be prepared to fight. Next year is going to be a BIG one for the children of God, which naturally means the enemy is going to try many times to come against us and shut us down but as long as you stay in the full armour of God you cannot be stopped! Send the devil to flight and keep up the good fight!

As for the goals and aspirations, keep going for them. If its within Gods will you shall receive it! Aim to prosper spiritually, mentally, emotionally, financially, physically, in every way possible that will grow you and not hinder you :-) and if you don’t achieve it, don’t you worry it’s never too late for anything or to try again. Or maybe that just means God has something better for you, which ultimately is better!

I did have another point but I can’t remember it! I might have to do a second post later if I remember!

I hope you all have an awesome entry into 2012, welcome it in praising God for the opportunity to make it thus far. There are many people this year who had hopes and plans for 2012 and didn’t make it.
